University Students
Intentionally located near Wilfrid Laurier University and adjacent to the University of Waterloo, Waterloo CRC especially welcomes university students to our fellowship. Whether you are looking for a place to worship, a place to serve, a place to develop relationships, or a place to call your spiritual home during your university years, we are committed to partnering with you on your faith journey. Classis Huron of the Christian Reformed Church sponsors Rev. Brian Bork, the CRC chaplain who serves both university campuses. See Brian's web page for more information.
In addition to giving you a place to hang out and meet fellow students, we have the following regular programs:
- Monthly Student Lunch: On the second Sunday of most months, we host an informal lunch after our morning worship service for all college and university students. There's no cost, no pressure, no agendajust an opportunity to eat home-cooked food, meet other students, and get to know some of our church members.
- Twice-Monthly Bible Study: Twice each month a small group of students meets at Pastor Vicki's home. We're currently studying "Follow Me", the same faith formation study being recommended to each small group in the church. There's also plenty of time for questions, discussion, food, foosball, and getting to know each other. All university, college and career age people are welcome to participate.
Friendship Group

Friendship Club is an informal gathering for special people with mental disabilities featuring individual (one-to-one) attention and instruction. Every Monday evening at the church from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, the Club meets for group activities, singing, Bible stories, crafts, and refreshments. There is a $12 membership fee.
Friendship Club is non-denominational, and our program is used by many Christian groups. We encourage the use of a three-year curriculum called The Friendship Series, published by CRC Publications in Grand Rapids, MI. Click here for more information about the program.
