University Students

Intentionally located near Wilfrid Laurier University and adjacent to the University of Waterloo, Waterloo CRC especially welcomes university students to our fellowship. Whether you are looking for a place to worship, a place to serve, a place to develop relationships, or a place to call your spiritual home during your university years, we are committed to partnering with you on your faith journey. Classis Huron of the Christian Reformed Church sponsors Rev. Brian Bork, the CRC chaplain who serves both university campuses. See Brian's web page for more information.

In addition to giving you a place to hang out and meet fellow students, we have the following regular programs:

Friendship Group

Friendship Club is an informal gathering for special people with mental disabilities featuring individual (one-to-one) attention and instruction. Every Monday evening at the church from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, the Club meets for group activities, singing, Bible stories, crafts, and refreshments. There is a $12 membership fee.

Friendship Club is non-denominational, and our program is used by many Christian groups. We encourage the use of a three-year curriculum called The Friendship Series, published by CRC Publications in Grand Rapids, MI. Click here for more information about the program.

Children and Youth

Bible Studies

A large number of adult Bible Study groups meet throughout the year. Contact the church office for more information. One Wednesday per month, people over 60 meet for breakfast at Crossroads Restaurant in Elmira.

Coffee Break and Little Lambs

Coffee Break is an interdenominational Bible study group for women of all ages and backgrounds. From September to May, the group meets at the church on Thursday from 9:30am to 11:00am. Nursery and child care is provided; children aged 2.5 to 5 can participate in the "Little Lambs" program of bible stories, crafts, songs, and games.
